Do I need an account to receive money?

You don't need to download an app or open a bank account to receive money with Moov Money. You just open the link and follow a few quick steps.

To keep the network safe, you do need to verify your phone number before you can receive money. We'll also securely store the card information you provide so the money can reach you. After your first payment, you can create a passkey for faster access next time.

What you'll need

• The secure link from the sender. This link always starts with https://moov.money/c/

• Your phone to receive a one-time verification code (or a passkey if you've set one up).

• A US-issued Visa or Mastercard debit card, or Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Good to know

• There's no balance to manage; money goes straight to your card or wallet.

• Verifying your phone number helps make sure money reaches the right person and helps keep the network safe.
