Why do I need to verify my phone number?

Before you can receive money with Moov Money, you verify your phone number. This helps make sure money reaches the right person and helps keep the network safe from fraud.
How it works
We text you a one-time code. You enter it to confirm it's you.
If you've set up a passkey before, you can use it to verify instead of a code.
When a payment is sent to a specific phone number, only someone who has verified that number can claim it.
Keep your code private
Your one-time code is for you only. Never share it with anyone, even someone who claims to be from Moov, your bank, or the sender. We will never call or text you to ask for your code. Anyone asking for it is trying to scam you.
Good to know
You only need to verify once to receive money; a passkey can make future claims faster.
If you didn't request a code and receive one, don't share it — someone may be trying to access a payment that isn't theirs.
