Last updated: July 14, 2026
Scammers sometimes send fake links designed to look like a payment. Here's how to make sure a link is really from Moov Money before you open it.
Check the web address
A real Moov Money claim link always starts with:
https://moov.money/For example, a payment link looks like https://moov.money/c/....
Watch for lookalikes
Scammers create web addresses that look similar but aren't the same. Be suspicious of links that:
Use a different domain (anything that isn't
moov.money).Add extra words before the domain, like
moov.money.example.com— the real domain is the part right before the first single/.Use misspellings (for example,
m00vormoov-money-secure.com).Arrive with urgent or threatening messages pressuring you to click.
Tips
A rich preview of the link will likely show if its sent by someone in your contacts via SMS.
If you're on a computer, hover over the link to preview the full address before clicking.
When in doubt, don't click. Ask the sender to confirm they sent it.
Never enter your card details or one-time code on a page you reached from a suspicious link.
